Role Overview
As a Part-Time Care Assistant, you will provide essential support to individuals living in their own homes, helping them maintain independence, dignity, and comfort. Your responsibilities will include:
- Providing personal care such as washing, dressing, and supporting personal hygiene with dignity and respect
- Assisting with meal preparation, shopping, and light household tasks
- Offering companionship, conversation, and emotional support
- Prompting or administering medication according to care plans
- Observing and reporting any changes in wellbeing to the office or on-call team
- Travelling within Swadlincote (fuel allowance provided)
- Working part-time hours, with flexibility around weekdays and weekends depending on your availability and rota needs
Requirements
- Full UK driving licence
- Access to your own vehicle
- Availability for part-time hours
