Care Assistant - Working in the Swadlincote Community

Overview

As a Community Care Assistant, you will be:

Responsibilities

• Support service users to maintain independence within their own homes
• Assist with personal care, including washing, dressing, grooming, and maintaining personal hygiene
• Help with meal preparation, shopping, and light domestic tasks as requested by service users
• Provide companionship and emotional support
• Administer or prompt service users to take their medication
• Monitor overall wellbeing and morale during visits, reporting any concerns to the office or on-call team
• Uniform and PPE provided initially and throughout employment
• Local work supporting service users in Swadlincote, Castle Gresley, Church Gresley, Newhall & Midway
• Supportive, professional team environment with head office in Swadlincote
• On-call support for queries outside office hours

Essential Requirements

• Full UK Driving Licence and access to a vehicle
• Enhanced DBS check and satisfactory references

Salary

£12.65 – £21.30 per hour + 35p per mile

Contract and eligibility

• Contract: Full-time / Part-time / Flexible hours
• Eligibility: Must have the right to work in the UK, a Full UK Driving Licence, and be a female applicant (Genuine Occupational Requirement)
• Part-time and full-time roles available
• Weekend on, weekend off availability required
• Flexible shifts between 7am – 10pm to suit both your lifestyle and business needs
