Bradburys Group is currently recruiting for a Business Development Manager to be based at the company’s office in Leicestershire, England, United Kingdom. As a Business Development Manager, you will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, building and maintaining client relationships and developing strategies to drive company growth. You will collaborate closely with the sales, marketing, and operational security teams to ensure alignment with company objectives and customer needs.
Responsibilities
- Demonstrate highest standards of customer-facing skills and customer care whilst remaining professional, approachable and polite at all times.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities through market research, networking, and outreach.
- Develop and maintain relationships with key clients, partners, and stakeholders.
- Lead negotiations and close deals with clients to achieve sales targets and revenue goals.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and execute business development strategies.
- Analyse market trends and competitive landscape to identify potential areas for growth.
- Prepare and present business proposals, presentations, and reports to senior management.
- Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of business development activities and make recommendations for improvement.
Essential Requirements
- A five-year checkable work history.
- Proof of Right to work in the UK.
- An excellent command of English communication skills (written, oral, email).
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing or related field (MBA preferred).
- Proven track record of success in business development, sales, or related roles.
- Strong understanding of industry/sector market dynamics and trends.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM software.
- A flexible approach to hours of work and duties undertaken.
- Self-discipline.
- Ability to adapt at all times.
- Excellent time-keeping/time management.
- Full UK Driving licence.
