Bradburys Group is currently employing high calibre Security Officers in Birmingham, England. You will be responsible for providing the highest standards of overt security presence across three residences on a mobile/rotational basis, carrying out mobile patrols around the perimeters and surrounding areas, identifying and investigating potential issues or unsolicited visitors, report/log writing, taking instructions from your line manager in addition to accepting instructions and tasks directly from the client.
Responsibilities:
- Provide a safe, secure and welcoming environment for all
- Demonstrate high customer-facing skills whilst remaining approachable and polite at all times
- Maintain daily security events/activity logs
- Enhance the client’s brand identity and reputation
- Demonstrate a sound knowledge of health and safety within the specific work environment
- Liaise professionally with the police, client, management, visitors and contractors
- Lock/unlock buildings
- Identify and report any health and safety hazards
- Manage enquiries
- Submit reports and updates to operations management
- Respond to alarm activations
Essential Requirements:
- Minimum of five years experience within the security industry
- A valid Security Industry Authority (SIA) licence in Front-line Close Protection
- A five-year checkable work history
- Proof of Right to work in the UK
- An excellent command of English communication skills (written, oral, email)
- Immaculate appearance and high standards of personal hygiene
- Ability to work alone and as part of a team
- Vigilant and alert at all times
- Ability to adapt at all times
- Excellent attention to detail and a natural investigative mindset
- Confidence in your ability to manage difficult situations that arise in a safe and professional manner
- Excellent time-keeping/time management
- Fire Marshal Qualification
- Full UK Driving licence
- Emergency First Aid at Work or Emergency First Aid
