We are currently seeking to recruit a self-motivated, proactive individual, who would like to join the Bradburys production team as Shift Leader within the Production facility. The role is a full-time position of 40 hours per week onsite reporting into the Operations Manager. The purpose of the Shift Leader role is to ensure production lines are keeping to the required standards of safety, product quality and process efficiency whilst maintaining high levels of GMP. The position is shift work, 6am-2pm and 2pm-10pm Mon-Fri.
The Candidate: We are looking for someone who has a strong background in food manufacturing, an expertise of production line processes with full knowledge of operational concepts, Health & Safety and Food Safety practices and procedures, along with strong people management. You will perform a variety of tasks within the Production facility to ensure the highest productivity and efficiency. Ideally, the candidates will be self-motivated and driven with great organisational skills and attention to detail. Problem solving and fantastic communication internally with colleagues will be critical. The individual will need to be proactive and hands-on, driven by a desire to ensure that all key tasks and responsibilities are fulfilled and that the best possible results are achieved for both customers and internal stakeholders. Bradburys is a fast-paced environment, therefore, there is an expectation to be able to operate at speed, with confidence and accuracy.
Skills & Attributes:
- Experience with fast-paced production lines.
- FMCG experience is critical.
- Proven Management skills and good leadership qualities with the ability to provide direction and clarity.
- People Management experience is critical.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Confident with IT and ability to learn and use relevant systems (training provided).
- Diligent with detail and paperwork controls.
- Ability and determination to accomplish production daily and weekly goals.
