A new opportunity has arisen for a Recruitment Specialist to join our People Team!

Location: Buxton, Derbyshire

Contract: Part time / Permanent

Working Pattern: On-site

Reports To: Head of HR / Talent Acquisition Lead

About the Role

We’re looking for a proactive and people-focused Recruitment Specialist to join our team and help us attract, engage, and hire exceptional talent. You’ll manage the full recruitment lifecycle, partnering closely with hiring managers to understand their needs and deliver a smooth, professional, and inclusive hiring experience.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Managing end-to-end recruitment across a range of roles and departments.
  • Partnering with hiring managers to scope roles, refine job descriptions, and define selection criteria.
  • Proactively sourcing candidates via job boards, social media, networking, and talent pools.
  • Screening CVs and conducting phone/video interviews.
  • Coordinating interviews and supporting hiring managers with effective selection techniques.
  • Managing offers, pre-employment checks, and ensuring a great candidate experience throughout.
  • Maintaining accurate data in the ATS and producing regular recruitment metrics.
  • Supporting employer branding activity, career events, and process improvements.

About You

  • Experienced in in-house or head hunting recruitment, ideally in a multi-disciplinary environment.
  • Confident managing multiple vacancies and stakeholders at pace.
  • Skilled in sourcing and building strong candidate pipelines.
  • Strong communicator with the ability to influence and challenge professionally.
  • Highly organised with excellent attention to detail.
  • Passionate about delivering an exceptional candidate experience.

Desirable but not essential:

  • Knowledge of UK employment law relating to recruitment.
  • Experience in recruitment marketing, social media, or employer branding.
