The Pines School is looking for an enthusiastic, motivated and committed Teaching Assistant with SEND/SALT experience and a level 3 qualification to join our friendly hard-working team. We are looking for someone who can run specific speech and language interventions as directed by our fabulous SENCO. You will be mostly running interventions; however, there will be some class-based work. You will receive training to ensure you can fulfil this role fully and will be supported by the class staff and the leadership team.
You will need to be committed, have a sense of humour and have boundless energy. The successful candidate will join a team who are passionate about engaging and inspiring young people in their learning and will have experience of working with primary age range children. The Pines is a vibrant Primary school with a Nursery. We are well resourced and we have extensive outside space along with a Specialist Resource Provision. There are currently 280 children on roll. The school is located in the Hanworth estate which is on the outskirts of Bracknell town and is within very easy access of many amenities. We have on-site parking and are on a bus route within 20 minutes of the town centre. We also have a local shop within walking distance of the school.
The 'Look Out’ environmental area, Bracknell Sports Centre and Swimming Pool, David Lloyd Health Club, the South Hill Park Theatre & Arts Centre are all well within walking distance with skating, bowling, cinemas and a leisure pool nearby.
We need a Teaching Assistant who:
- Has experience of working with children with SEND and/or speech and language difficulties
- Can provide tailored support for children under the guidance of our team, enabling children to access the curriculum
- Has the willingness to work with others and learn

- Has the ability, enthusiasm and is able to work as part of a team

Actual Salary: approx. £13.84 – £14.27 per hour – pending April 2026 pay award.
