What the Job Involves
The role involves executing duties as an authorised Class 2 Registered Building Inspector under the Principal Building Control Surveyor's direction, often requiring work outside regular office hours. Your focus will be on ensuring compliance with Building Regulations and associated legislation during plan examination and site inspections. You will make critical on-the-spot decisions regarding applications and construction work, managing a wide spectrum of caseloads, and supervising Building Control Surveyors and Assistants.
