This is an exciting opportunity in the Resources Directorate for a talented and dynamic individual with the experience and drive to join our strong team and help us achieve our vision. You must be CCAB qualified or equivalent accountancy qualification, with significant post-qualification experience and technical knowledge in education and social care finance from a local authority perspective. You will have the ability to analyse and interpret complex financial information to inform decision making.

You will lead strategic financial management for the People Directorate, providing expert advice on budgets for services including Adults and Children’s Social Care and Education. You will play a key role in transformation programmes, ensuring efficient service delivery. You will need a CCAB qualification and substantial local authority finance experience for this role.
