Are you passionate about supporting individuals with learning disabilities and autism? We are looking for a dedicated Social Worker to join our Community Team for People with Learning Disabilities (CTPLD) and Autism. This is a full‑time, permanent position. The Community Team for People with Learning Disabilities (CTPLD) and Autism is a vibrant, collaborative team with a shared ethos of compassion, inclusion and excellence. We pride ourselves on our positive team dynamic and a culture of mutual support. Working closely with colleagues across the wider service, we draw on a wealth of specialist knowledge to provide the best possible support to the individuals we serve.
Key Responsibilities
- Hold a caseload of people with learning disabilities and autism and fulfil statutory duties on behalf of the service.
- Carry out assessment, support planning and review.
- Provide direct work with people who have a learning disability and/or autism, as well as general case management duties.
Qualifications
- Experience of working within the current Social Care System and Framework.
- Experience in managing a caseload of people with learning disabilities and/or autism.
- Effective communication, organisational and problem‑solving skills.
