Are you passionate about supporting individuals with learning disabilities and autism? We are looking for a dedicated Social Worker to join our Community Team for People with Learning Disabilities (CTPLD) and Autism. This is a full‑time, permanent position. The Community Team for People with Learning Disabilities (CTPLD) and Autism is a vibrant, collaborative team with a shared ethos of compassion, inclusion and excellence. Working closely with colleagues across the wider service, we draw on a wealth of specialist knowledge to provide the best possible support to the individuals we serve.

Key Responsibilities

  • Hold a caseload of people with learning disabilities and autism and fulfil statutory duties on behalf of the service.
  • Carry out assessment, support planning and review.
  • Provide direct work with people who have a learning disability and/or autism, as well as general case management duties.

Qualifications

  • Experience of working within the current Social Care System and Framework.
  • Experience in managing a caseload of people with learning disabilities and/or autism.
  • Effective communication, organisational and problem‑solving skills.
