This full‑time, permanent role is based at Time Square in Bracknell, with hybrid working arrangements of 3–4 days per week in hospital and office settings.

Working Pattern

  • Full Time, Permanent – 37 hours per week.
  • Hybrid working (Time Square office or hospital, 3–4 days per week).
  • Remote working available where service needs allow.

Key Responsibilities

  • Undertake safeguard enquiries, maintaining people’s choice and control, empowering adults within a risk‑enablement and strengths‑based approach.
  • Apply knowledge and experience of adult safeguarding, including S42 enquiries, Making Safeguarding Personal and the Care Act (2014).
  • Complete safeguarding work within the time‑frames and guidance set by Bracknell Forest Council.
  • Coordinate and provide timely professional advice to ward/MDT and family teams to support hospital discharge.
  • Conduct risk assessments and manage safeguarding alerts.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Registered Social Worker with statutory registration in the UK.
  • Strong safeguarding expertise and sound professional judgement.
  • Demonstrated experience within the current Social Care System and Framework.
  • Knowledge of S42 enquiries, Making Safeguarding Personal and the Care Act (2014).
  • Ability to work collaboratively with partner agencies and multi‑disciplinary teams.
  • Enhanced DBS check required.
