Do you want to help change lives for people experiencing issues with addiction? As a Recovery Facilitator, you will work within a small team to support individuals in achieving their goals and overcoming addiction. This office‑based role is located at the New Hope drug and alcohol service in Bracknell, part of Bracknell Forest Council.
About You
You will manage a caseload of individuals with varying levels of complexity, improving outcomes and facilitating reintegration into the community. You must have excellent skills in assessing needs, identifying risks, and paying close attention to detail. Experience working with people who have complex drug and alcohol needs is beneficial. You must possess a high standard of computer literacy and data management, and a clear understanding of confidentiality.
About The Team
New Hope is the central hub from which drug and alcohol services are delivered. You will play a pivotal role in ensuring that people seeking services are assessed in a timely manner, collaborating with partner agencies such as criminal justice agencies, schools, and health professionals. You will work within a highly motivated team dedicated to supporting Bracknell Forest residents.
Key Responsibilities
- Complete comprehensive assessments and risk assessments for adults and young people presenting to New Hope with substance misuse issues.
- Review recovery plans and identify progress against agreed outcomes.
- Deliver a full range of substance misuse interventions to support adults and young people to recover from their addictions.
- Collaborate with partner agencies to obtain information and ensure a holistic approach.
- Attend multi‑professional meetings as required.
- Provide one‑to‑one and group interventions, offering harm reduction advice and information to adults and young people entering treatment.
Training and Development
We offer an extensive training programme designed to ensure all staff are knowledgeable about substance misuse and the interventions that can be delivered to support individuals.
