We are seeking a highly organised and motivated Business Change Analyst to join our team on a 12 month fixed-term contract or secondment, with the possibility of extension. This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in the planning and delivery of a grant-funded transformational programme that will shape the future of our services. Working within a fast-paced and dynamic environment, you will support a wide range of transformation projects, helping to design and implement improvements that deliver meaningful outcomes for our residents and communities.

As a Business Change Analyst, you will be a confident and professional individual with strong analytical and communication skills, able to work both independently and collaboratively across a range of projects. You will be highly organised and adaptable, with a proactive, “can-do” approach and comfortable managing competing priorities while maintaining a high level of attention to detail.

You have experience in analysing service performance and using data and insight to identify opportunities for improvement. You are skilled in engaging stakeholders at all levels, translating business needs into practical solutions. Your ability to work autonomously, handle sensitive information with discretion and build strong working relationships across teams will be key to your success.

Above all, you are passionate about service design, enjoy problem-solving and are driven to deliver better outcomes for communities.

You will be part of a small, welcoming and friendly Local Authority with a strong sense of community and belonging. Based at our Time Square offices within the Children’s Social Care team, you will work closely with colleagues across the organisation as part of a grant-funded transformational programme. Our culture is connected and inclusive, with a clear focus on wellbeing and supporting our people to thrive. We take pride in our approachable and visible leadership team, who are committed to supporting staff and enabling innovation.

Working collaboratively within the programme team, you will help lead process redesign workshops, contribute to insight-led decision-making and support the delivery of efficient, customer-focused services that are accessible and responsive to the needs of our residents.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver insight-led analysis to baseline service performance, identify improvement opportunities, and inform programme decisions using evidence from internal/external best practice.
  • Lead end-to-end process mapping and redesign (as-is/to-be), working with stakeholders to define requirements and implement changes aligned to the transformational reform programme.
  • Develop and maintain Power BI dashboards and reporting to track workstream progress, benefits (including non-cashable), risks and performance measures.

Interview date: Week commencing 25th May 2026. Interviews will be conducted in person, providing candidates with the chance to personally meet the team and experience our work environment.

We will be reviewing applications regularly and reserve the right to close the advert early if suitable candidates are identified. To avoid disappointment, you are advised to submit your application as soon as possible.
