Best Start Inclusion Practitioners play a crucial role in supporting young children and their families through early intervention and inclusive practice across the Family Hub network. This full‑time permanent position involves face‑to‑face work with children aged 0‑5 and families, with occasional remote administrative tasks. Qualifications * Early years practitioner with a genuine commitment to inclusion. * Strong understanding of child development for children 0‑5 years old. * Relationship‑based practice skills and experience in supporting families with emerging additional needs. * Ability to facilitate early identification, navigation of care pathways and promotion of inclusive access to services. Responsibilities * Provide early advice, guidance and practical support to families concerned about child development, additional needs or access requirements. * Help families navigate local services and support pathways through signposting and warm handovers, including health, early years, early help and SEND services. * Promote inclusive access to Family Hub activities through reasonable adjustments, short interventions and targeted inclusion sessions. * Collaborate with partners, including Experts at Hand, to strengthen early identification, inclusive practice and the voice of families in service development. * Maintain accurate records and contribute to service development, workforce learning and an improved experience for families.
