We have an exciting opportunity for an Associate Content Designer on a full-time basis.

About You…
Content designers make information easier to understand and use. This can involve the creation of, or changes to, a transaction, product or single piece of content that stretches across digital and offline channels.
We are looking for someone with a high standard of written English, proof reading and editing ability to work in our dedicated content team.
About The Team…
The Content Design team are a small team of passionate content designers, working on the council’s digital services.
The Content Design team sit in the Digital Change and Service Improvement team. We are a cross-disciplinary team with a passion for improving council services through digital change.
The team includes developers, business analysts and a GIS and Data Officer. They are united by a shared purpose of creating great digital experiences.
Key responsibilities…
- To create, edit and publish content to the council\’s websites and intranet.
- To take responsibility for content published and to make sure it meets accessibility standards and recognised standards for usability and plain English.
- To manage business as usual requests which will include carrying out daily updates of content on internal and external websites.
- To work collaboratively with the Content Design team and service teams.
