We are working closely alongside a Local Authority in Walsall to assist with the appointment of an Interim Head of Quality and Assurance, on a 6-month contract, highly likely to be extended at clients discretion. Please apply with your CV for immediate consideration.
Rate of Pay: £549.00 - £649.00 per day
Summary: An experienced Interim Head of Quality and Assurance is required to lead the redesign and delivery of the Adult Social Care Quality Assurance function. This role will oversee the transition from an outsourced service back to an in-house model, while strengthening governance, provider oversight, and quality assurance processes across the care market. The successful candidate will bring strong transformation experience, the ability to lead cultural change, and a proven background in adult social care quality and provider oversight.
Responsibilities:
- Lead the redesign and implementation of the Adult Social Care Quality Assurance function
- Review and strengthen governance, oversight, and quality assurance arrangements
- Manage the transition of outsourced services back in-house
- Develop and embed quality assurance frameworks and provider self-assessment processes
- Establish effective quality monitoring and provider visit processes
- Identify, manage, and escalate provider risks and safeguarding concerns
Essential Requirements:
- Significant experience within Adult Social Care Quality Assurance and provider oversight
- Proven experience designing and implementing quality assurance frameworks
- Strong transformation and service redesign experience
- Experience managing workforce transition and organisational change
- Ability to lead strategic and operational priorities simultaneously
