We are working closely with YPO to assist with the appointment of a HR Support Officer, on a 2-month contract, highly likely to be extended at the client's discretion. Please apply with your CV for immediate consideration.

Summary: HR Support Officer to provide comprehensive administrative support to the HR & People Services team. The role will support the full employee lifecycle, including recruitment, onboarding, HR administration, payroll processing, employee records management, reporting, and HR projects, ensuring compliance with employment legislation, organisational policies, and data protection requirements.
Responsibilities:
- Act as the first point of contact for HR and payroll enquiries received through the People Portal, email, telephone, and face-to-face interactions.
- Prepare, validate, and submit payroll information while resolving payroll-related queries in collaboration with payroll providers.
- Produce regular HR management information and reports, including absence statistics, workforce data, and other performance metrics.
- Maintain strict confidentiality when handling sensitive employee information and ensure compliance with GDPR and data protection legislation.
Qualifications:
- NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) in Business Administration, Human Resources, or a related discipline.
- Good standard of general education, including GCSEs (or equivalent) in English and Mathematics.
Essentials:
- Previous experience in an administrative role, preferably within Human Resources or a related business support environment.
- Experience supporting recruitment and onboarding processes.
- Experience maintaining accurate employee records and HR databases.
- Experience processing payroll information or supporting payroll administration.
