We are working closely with local authority in Swindon to assist with the appointment of a Colleague Experience Administrator, on a 3-months contract, highly likely to be extended at clients discretion. Please apply with your CV for immediate consideration. Rate of Pay: £16.12- £21.67 per hour.

Summary: The Colleague Experience Administrator provides high-quality administrative and transactional HR support across the full employee lifecycle. The role supports key Human Resources and Organisational Development (HR & OD) functions including recruitment, onboarding, learning and development, employee records management, and HR administration. The post holder will ensure accurate data processing, timely responses to HR queries, and compliance with employment legislation, policies, procedures, and service standards. Working collaboratively across the HR & OD function and wider Council services, the role contributes to delivering an effective and positive colleague experience for employees and managers.

Responsibilities:

  • Ensure all HR transactions and query responses comply with employment legislation, council policies, procedures, and service level agreements (SLAs).
  • Provide guidance and signposting on HR processes, policies, and procedures, escalating complex or sensitive matters where appropriate.
  • Support reporting and administration activities relating to workforce data and HR processes.
  • Support ad hoc HR projects and administrative activities as required by the business.

Essentials:

  • GCSEs or equivalent qualifications in English and Mathematics essential.
  • Knowledge of HR administration processes and employee lifecycle activities.
  • Understanding of employment legislation, GDPR, and confidentiality requirements.
  • Previous experience in an HR administration, people services, or administrative support role desirable.
  • Experience maintaining databases, records, and administrative systems.
