We are working closely with Sutton Housing Partnership to assist with the appointment of a Repairs Supervisor, on a 3-months contract, highly likely to be extended at clients discretion. Please apply with your CV for immediate consideration. Rate of Pay: £22.92- £30.22 per hour.

The Repairs Supervisor is responsible for leading and managing a team of responsive repairs operatives to deliver high-quality maintenance and repair services across Sutton Housing Partnership's housing stock. The role ensures that repairs are completed safely, efficiently, and to the required quality standards while maintaining excellent customer service and regulatory compliance.

Responsibilities:
  • Conduct regular performance reviews, supervision meetings, and development discussions.
  • Ensure repairs are completed within agreed timescales, budgets, quality standards, and customer expectations.
  • Produce specifications, scopes of work, technical reports, and remedial action plans.
  • Ensure operatives use appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) and safe working practices.
  • Ensure accurate recording of repair progress, inspections, no-access visits, and follow-on works.
Qualifications:
  • NVQ Level 2 (or equivalent) in a recognised building trade.
Essentials:
  • Strong technical knowledge of building maintenance, repairs, and construction practices.
  • Understanding of building fabric, plumbing, mechanical, and electrical repair processes.
  • Knowledge of responsive repairs and void property maintenance services.
  • Significant experience supervising responsive repairs or void maintenance services within a social housing environment.
  • Experience managing and supervising a direct labour workforce.
  • Experience undertaking property inspections, surveys, and defect diagnosis.
