We are working closely alongside a Local Authority in Cardiff to assist with the appointment of a Static Cleaner, on a 3-month contract, likely to be extended at the client's discretion. Please apply with your CV for immediate consideration.

Summary: The Static Cleaner is responsible for delivering high-quality cleaning services to the communal areas of static blocks of flats within the city of Cardiff. The role ensures cleanliness, hygiene, and compliance with health and safety practices, while maintaining excellent communication with supervisors and residents.
Responsibilities:
- Carry out cleaning tasks to a high standard, taking ownership of specific assigned duties.
- Adhere strictly to health and safety regulations and safe working practices.
- Conduct basic risk assessments of work areas and tasks to ensure safety for all.
- Identify and report repairs or any issues in communal areas.
- Maintain daily communication with the Building or Mobile Supervisor regarding operational matters.
Requirements:
- Previous experience in a cleaning or caretaking role (preferred but not essential).
- Willingness and ability to undergo relevant training, including BICSc certification.
- Understanding of health and safety practices in a cleaning environment.
- Good verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and responsibly.
- Physically capable of performing cleaning tasks.
