We are working closely alongside a Local Authority in Sefton MBC to assist with the appointment of a Centre Administrator, on a 3-month contract, highly likely to be extended at clients discretion. Please apply with your CV for immediate consideration.
Rate of Pay: £13.88 - £18.05 per hour
Summary: The Centre Administrator will provide comprehensive administrative and financial support to The Atkinson, assisting with programmes, fundraising, income generation, venue hire, financial management, and day-to-day centre operations. The role requires a highly organised individual with strong administrative and financial skills, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines.
Responsibilities:
- Provide administrative support for programmes, fundraising, and income generation activities.
- Deliver day-to-day administrative, financial administration, and reporting functions.
- Use I Want Finance and Agresso systems effectively for procurement, financial management, and reporting.
- Support the monitoring and reporting of The Atkinson's financial performance.
- Carry out financial monitoring and cash-handling procedures in line with Council policies.
- Maintain accurate records of income and expenditure and undertake banking duties where required.
Qualification: Good standard of general education.
Essentials:
- Strong office administration experience.
- Experience of financial administration and cash handling.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to balance conflicting demands and work effectively to deadlines with limited resources.
- Ability to develop business performance and contribute to service improvement.
