Job Description:
We are working closely alongside a Local Authority in Preston to assist with the appointment of an Administration Assistant, on a 3-month contract, highly likely to be extended at clients discretion. Please apply with your CV for immediate consideration.
Rate of Pay: Β£13.92 - Β£18.01 per hour
Summary:
The Administration Assistant role will assist with the effective management and maintenance of Council-owned property, working closely with colleagues across the Directorate and supporting the smooth delivery of the Operational Property service.
Responsibilities:
- Provide administrative support to the Operational Property administration team, helping to ensure an efficient and effective service.
- Act as a key point of contact for the Operational Property service, dealing with incoming fault reports and other requests.
- Assist with the administration and day-to-day use of the specialist property management software, currently Civica Property Management (CPM).
- Raise work instructions through CPM and allocate them to the appropriate internal personnel or external contractors.
- Receive and process a range of instructions through CPM from Investment Property, including void inspections and property repair requests.
- Process purchase orders and invoices for the Section and maintain associated records and files within CPM.
Essentials:
- Previous experience in an administrative or property-related support role.
- Experience of using computerised systems for maintaining records and processing work instructions.
- Experience of processing purchase orders and invoices would be advantageous.
- Strong administrative and organisational skills.
- Good attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records.
