The predicted salary is between 19 - 24 Β£ per hour.

The Parking Appeals & Representation Officer will be responsible for investigating and responding to challenges, representations, and appeals relating to PCNs. The role requires a high level of accuracy, strong legislative knowledge, and the ability to work to strict deadlines while producing high-quality written responses.

Responsibilities

  • Investigate and respond to challenges, representations, appeals, charge certificates, and all PCN-related correspondence at all stages of the statutory process.
  • Produce high-quality written responses in line with productivity targets and service standards.
  • Assess and weigh evidence to make balanced, fair, and legally compliant decisions.
  • Prepare and submit appeal evidence packs to London Tribunals within specified timescales.
  • Attend personal appeal hearings when required and act as a professional liaison between the Council and London Tribunals.
  • Respond to additional tribunal correspondence within required deadlines.

Essentials

  • Proven experience in handling parking appeals, representations, or similar statutory casework.
  • Strong understanding of parking enforcement legislation and statutory processes.
  • Excellent written communication skills with attention to detail.
  • Ability to work to tight deadlines while maintaining high-quality standards.
  • Experience of analysing evidence and making sound, balanced judgements.
