Summary: We are looking for a skilled and customer-focused Plumber to join our Repairs Team, delivering reactive maintenance to council tenanted properties. The successful candidate will carry out high-quality plumbing repairs, ensuring work is completed safely, efficiently, and to a high standard while providing excellent customer service.
Responsibilities:
- Carry out reactive plumbing repairs and maintenance in council tenanted properties.
- Diagnose plumbing faults and complete repairs to a high standard.
- Ensure all work is completed safely, efficiently, and in line with health and safety regulations.
- Provide excellent customer service while working in occupied homes.
- Maintain tools, materials, and work records, and support the wider repairs team when required.
Essentials:
- NVQ Level 2/3 in Plumbing (or equivalent) or substantial plumbing experience.
- Strong plumbing repair and fault-finding skills.
- Experience carrying out reactive maintenance and repairs.
- Good knowledge of health and safety practices.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- High attention to detail and pride in workmanship.
