We are working closely alongside a Local Authority in Charnwood to assist with the appointment of a Plumber, on a 3-month contract, highly likely to be extended at clients discretion. Please apply with your CV for immediate consideration.

Summary: We are looking for a skilled and customer-focused Plumber to join our Repairs Team, delivering reactive maintenance to council tenanted properties. The successful candidate will carry out high-quality plumbing repairs, ensuring work is completed safely, efficiently, and to a high standard while providing excellent customer service.

Responsibilities:

  • Carry out reactive plumbing repairs and maintenance in council tenanted properties.
  • Diagnose plumbing faults and complete repairs to a high standard.
  • Ensure all work is completed safely, efficiently, and in line with health and safety regulations.
  • Provide excellent customer service while working in occupied homes.
  • Maintain tools, materials, and work records, and support the wider repairs team when required.

Essentials:

  • NVQ Level 2/3 in Plumbing (or equivalent) or substantial plumbing experience.
  • Strong plumbing repair and fault-finding skills.
  • Experience carrying out reactive maintenance and repairs.
  • Good knowledge of health and safety practices.
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • High attention to detail and pride in workmanship.
