We are working closely alongside a Local Authority in Lambeth to assist with the appointment of a Service Delivery Officer, on a 3-month contract, likely to be extended at clients discretion. Please apply with your CV for immediate consideration. Rate of Pay: £23.62 - £31.15 per hour.
Summary: Seeking a Service Delivery Officer (YJS) to support improvement projects, service transformation, and operational delivery within the Youth Justice Service. The role involves project management, stakeholder engagement, reporting, commissioning support, and helping improve outcomes for children, young people, and families.
Responsibilities:
- Project manage delivery of the Youth Justice Service improvement programme and strategic priorities
- Support development and implementation of service strategies, policies, and operational plans
- Undertake research, benchmarking, data collection, and analysis to support service development
- Produce reports, briefings, presentations, funding applications, and management information
- Monitor project delivery, risks, actions, and performance against agreed plans
Qualifications: Educated to A-Level standard or equivalent relevant experience in project management, commissioning, policy, or service planning.
Essential Requirements:
- Experience managing projects or commissioning services within a public sector environment
- Experience supporting senior management with project planning and implementation
- Experience producing reports, research findings, and recommendations
- Experience building strong working relationships with stakeholders and partner agencies
- Experience analysing financial or management information data to support service delivery
