We are working closely alongside Southern Housing to assist with the appointment of a Senior Leasehold Manager, on a 3-month contract, likely to be extended at clients discretion. Please apply with your CV for immediate consideration.
Rate of Pay: £20.98 - £27.66 per hour
Summary: An opportunity has arisen for an experienced Senior Leasehold Manager to provide expert oversight across a residential leasehold portfolio. Reporting to the Head of Property Management, the role will focus on leasehold compliance, tribunal cases, service charges, managing agents, governance, and complex leasehold disputes, ensuring services are delivered in line with legislation, regulatory requirements, and best practice.
Responsibilities:
- Provide expert advice on leasehold law, case law, and regulatory compliance
- Lead on complex tribunal, legal, and governance matters
- Oversee Section 20 consultations and service charge compliance
- Manage First-tier Tribunal (FTT) cases, disputes, and lease variations
- Support Right to Manage (RTM) and enfranchisement processes
Qualifications:
- Degree level qualification or equivalent experience
- GCSE English and Maths (or equivalent)
Essential Requirements:
- Full UK driving licence or ability to travel effectively for the role
- Extensive experience within leasehold property management
- Strong technical knowledge of UK leasehold legislation and case law
- Experience managing tribunal and court cases relating to leasehold disputes
- Strong knowledge of service charge legislation and compliance
- Experience managing mixed tenure residential blocks
- Knowledge of RTM, enfranchisement, and lease variations
