We are working closely alongside a local authority in Islington to assist with the appointment of a Learning and Achievement Project Manager on a 2.5-month contract, highly likely to be extended at client's discretion. Please apply with your CV for immediate consideration.

SummaryAs the Learning and Achievement Project Manager, you will lead the delivery of strategic education initiatives, with a primary focus on transitioning schools payroll systems. Working within a dynamic environment, you will be responsible for ensuring projects are executed on time, within budget, and in alignment with the specific needs of schools.
Responsibilities- Establish consistent governance standards, including documenting project deliverables, plans, resources, and benefits.
- Draft and maintain essential project records such as project briefs, business cases, scoping documents, and highlight reports.
- Act as a central point of contact for project queries, ensuring clear communication for those impacted by the programme.
- Coordinate cross-functional project teams to ensure the timely delivery of outputs.
- Monitor revenue budgets related to change management and model the impact of change decisions.
- Provide programme support for Capital budgets related to the decommissioning of school sites.
- Must hold, or have the ability to gain, a recognised project management qualification.
- Must demonstrate an awareness and commitment to the protection and safeguarding of children and vulnerable adults.
- Proven experience in managing and delivering projects within the public sector.
- Proven ability to influence senior leads and build positive working relationships within a local authority or public sector setting.
- Strong reasoning skills with the ability to interpret complex data to support evidence-based decision-making.
Please note you should be available to work immediately or at short notice. You should have the right to work in the U.K. This role requires a Basic DBS.
