Job Description:
We are working closely alongside a Local Authority in Lewisham to assist with the appointment of a Health and Work Coach, on a 6.5-month contract, highly likely to be extended at clients discretion. Please apply with your CV for immediate consideration.
Rate of Pay: £21.87 - £28.85 per hour
Summary:
A Health and Work Coach is required to provide personalised wellbeing and employability coaching to Lewisham residents through the WorkWell programme, supporting participants to return to work or remain in employment while managing health and wellbeing needs.
Responsibilities:
- Provide one-to-one wellbeing and employability coaching.
- Assess participants' wellbeing and employability needs.
- Develop personalised action plans.
- Provide career and employment advice, including CVs, job search and interview support.
- Signpost and refer participants to appropriate health, wellbeing and support services.
Essential Requirements:
- Professional qualification in Information, Advice & Guidance, Coaching or equivalent.
- Experience supporting individuals with health, wellbeing and/or employment challenges.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Experience developing holistic support plans.
- Ability to manage own caseload and workload.

- You should be available to work immediately or at a short notice.
