We are working closely alongside a Local Authority in Camden to assist with the appointment of a FRA Carpenter, on a 3-month contract, highly likely to be extended at clients discretion. Please apply with your CV for immediate consideration.

Summary: We're looking for an experienced FRA Carpenter to support fire safety improvement works across residential properties. The role involves installing and upgrading fire doors, carrying out fire stopping works, repairing frames, and ensuring all works are completed to a high standard and in line with current fire safety regulations.
Responsibilities:
- Install, upgrade, and repair fire doors and frames
- Carry out fire stopping works
- Fit electrical enclosures and fire-rated plasterboard
- Ensure compliance with British Standards and fire safety requirements
- Complete accurate records and job documentation
- Deliver excellent customer service while working in occupied properties
Qualifications:
- Relevant Carpentry qualification or equivalent experience
Essential Requirements:
- Proven experience in fire door installation, repairs, and upgrades
- Strong understanding of fire door components and fire stopping works
- Good knowledge of British Standards and fire safety compliance
- Excellent quality management and attention to detail
- Good record-keeping and administration skills
- Full UK Driving Licence (company van provided)
