We are working closely alongside Southern Housing to assist with the appointment of a DLO Electrician on a 3-month contract, highly likely to be extended at the client's discretion. Please apply with your CV for immediate consideration.

Summary: Southern Housing is looking for a skilled and motivated DLO Electrician to join our Direct Repairs department. This is a vital role focused on delivering high-quality repairs, maintenance, and safety inspections directly to our residents. You will be the face of our service in South London, ensuring that homes are safe, compliant, and well-maintained.
Responsibilities:
- Deliver comprehensive electrical repair and maintenance services to residents, internal staff, and partners.
- Conduct thorough electrical tests, surveys, and inspections, including Periodic Inspection and Testing (EICR) for void properties.
- Perform Portable Appliance Testing (PAT) and ensure all works meet the latest wiring regulations and safety standards.
- Maintain a safe working environment, adhering to health and safety protocols at all times.
Qualifications:
- NVQ Level 3 Electrical Installation Qualification + AM2
- City and Guilds 2395 Inspection and Testing
- City and Guilds /20 (18th Edition of the Wiring Regulations)
Essentials:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in electrical maintenance and installation.
- A full UK driving licence held for at least 2 years.
