We are working closely with local authority in Lincolnshire to assist with the appointment of a Customer Service Advisor Out of Hours, on a 3-months contract, highly likely to be extended at clients discretion. Please apply with your CV for immediate consideration.

Summary: The Out of Hours Customer Service Advisor serves as the essential first point of contact for Lincolnshire County Council's emergency and non-emergency services during evenings, weekends, and overnight periods. Based in the Corporate Hub, this role involves managing high-stakes, sensitive calls from both the general public and professional bodies such as the Police and Health Services. You will be responsible for accurately gathering information to support critical services like Adult Care and Children's Services, as well as handling enquiries for District Council housing repairs and library services.

Responsibilities:

  • Act as the first point of contact for emergency calls specifically relating to Adult's and Children's Social Care.
  • Assist in vital tasks such as facilitating Social Care Assessments to help residents stay safely at home and supporting contacts for Children in Need.
  • Maintain precise records and process information within a fast-paced environment to ensure service continuity outside of standard business hours.
  • Manage enquiries across a broad range of local services, including Council Housing repairs, Libraries, Heritage, and Registration & Celebratory Services.

Essentials:

  • A proven passion for delivering high-quality customer service in a public-facing or contact center environment.
  • Experience in handling sensitive information or working within a social care/emergency services context is highly beneficial.
  • Competency in using Microsoft Office and Windows-based systems is required.
  • Participation in a full induction and ongoing role-specific development training.

Please note: You should be available to work immediately or at short notice. You should have the right to work in the U.K. This role requires a Basic DBS.
