We are working closely with a local authority in North Northamptonshire to assist with the appointment of a Senior Business Support Officer on a 6-month contract, highly likely to be extended at the client's discretion. Please apply with your CV for immediate consideration.
Rate of Pay: £15.06 - £19.26 per hour
Summary: The Senior Business Support Officer provides proactive and high-quality administrative, financial and business support within the Adult Social Care Customer Pathway. The role is responsible for supporting business processes, information systems, financial systems, data management and effective service delivery.
Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive and proactive administrative support to work and financial systems within the Adult Social Care Customer Pathway.
- Ensure information and data management systems are maintained to a high standard.
- Work within Council financial regulations, procedures and guidelines to support appropriate financial control and maximise income.
- Promote safe working practices that protect children, young people and vulnerable adults.
Qualifications:
- Good standard of general education, including GCSEs or equivalent in English and Mathematics.
- NVQ Level 3 or equivalent experience in administration.
Essentials:
- Experience of working in a busy office or business support environment.
- Experience of using IT systems, including Microsoft Word and databases.
- Experience of maintaining and managing records and information.
