We are working closely alongside a Local Authority in Walsall to assist with the appointment of an Interim Financial Transformation Lead, on a 3-month contract, highly likely to be extended at clients discretion. Please apply with your CV for immediate consideration.
Rate of Pay: £549.00 - £649.00 per day
Summary: An experienced Interim Financial Transformation Lead is required to drive a focused programme of financial recovery and transformation across Adult Social Care Commissioning. The role will lead system-wide improvements to financial management, debt recovery, and commissioning processes while working closely with health partners and internal stakeholders. This is a transformation-led role requiring strong commissioning experience, strategic leadership, and the ability to independently shape and deliver sustainable operational improvements.
Responsibilities:
- Lead financial recovery and transformation activity across Adult Social Care Commissioning
- Develop and implement policies, processes, and operational infrastructure to improve financial management and control
- Drive debt recovery activity with Integrated Care Boards and Health partners
- Establish robust governance, reporting, and delivery plans
- Build strong working relationships across operational teams and partner organisations
Essential Requirements:
- Relevant experience within commissioning, transformation, or programme leadership in local government or public sector environments
- Strong background in commissioning-led transformation
- Experience designing and embedding operational systems and processes
- Proven experience working with health partners and multi-agency environments
- Ability to independently lead complex transformation programmes
- Strong stakeholder engagement and influencing skills
