We are working closely alongside a Local Authority in Thurrock to assist with the appointment of an Intelligence Officer on a 3-month contract , highly likely to be extended at the client’s discretion. Please apply with your CV for immediate consideration.
Rate of Pay: £22.00 – £28.06 per Hour
Responsibilities:
- Work within all legal frameworks, key working principles, policies and guidance to ensure information and intelligence is handled and processed legally.
- Analyse a wide range of data from a variety of sources for sensitive and complex investigations in respect of incidents affecting the public sector.
- Collate and validate intelligence, evaluating the credibility of information.
- Analyse the activities of individuals, groups and organisations through the application of recognised analytical techniques and methodology.
- Evaluate the significance of patterns and trends.
Qualifications:
- Must be able to communicate clearly and concisely, both orally and in writing, with all levels of the organisation and outside agencies. Must demonstrate good listening skills.
- Knowledge of economic crime and its effects on local and central government.
- Previous experience working as an intelligence officer or analyst.
