We are working closely alongside a Local Authority in Nottinghamshire to assist with the appointment of a Driver, on a 2-month contract, highly likely to be extended at clients discretion. Please apply with your CV for immediate consideration.
Rate of Pay: £12.85 – £16.17 per hour
Summary:
To undertake a range of passenger transport functions within Fleet Operations, ensuring effective provision in line with service requirements and customer needs.
Responsibilities:
- Personally and through team members assist to deliver the service plans and objectives for the Fleet operations team.
- To undertake the safe transportation of all passengers.
- To have regard for the general welfare of passengers and to promote their safety.
- To ensure compliance with safe practice in respect of all passenger particularly wheelchair users.
- To maintain and operate vehicles in accordance with policies, procedures and issued Guidance.
Education and Knowledge:
- A full endorsement free driving licence that includes category D Licence
- Manual Handling training
- Emergency First Aid Qualification
- Wheelchair securing knowledge
Experience Required:
- Experience in the transportation of passengers
- Minimum of 4 years, driving experience.
- Experience in working to tight schedules
- Experience of working with vulnerable people

- You should be available to work immediately or at a short notice.
