We are working closely alongside a Local Authority in Nottinghamshire to assist with the appointment of a Driver, on a 2-month contract, highly likely to be extended at clients discretion. Please apply with your CV for immediate consideration.

Rate of Pay: £12.85 – £16.17 per hour

Summary:

To undertake a range of passenger transport functions within Fleet Operations, ensuring effective provision in line with service requirements and customer needs.

Responsibilities:

  • Personally and through team members assist to deliver the service plans and objectives for the Fleet operations team.
  • To undertake the safe transportation of all passengers.
  • To have regard for the general welfare of passengers and to promote their safety.
  • To ensure compliance with safe practice in respect of all passenger particularly wheelchair users.
  • To maintain and operate vehicles in accordance with policies, procedures and issued Guidance.

Education and Knowledge:

  • A full endorsement free driving licence that includes category D Licence
  • Manual Handling training
  • Emergency First Aid Qualification
  • Wheelchair securing knowledge

Experience Required:

  • Experience in the transportation of passengers
  • Minimum of 4 years, driving experience.
  • Experience in working to tight schedules
  • Experience of working with vulnerable people

  • You should be available to work immediately or at a short notice.
  • You should have right to work in U.K
