We are working closely with CDC – Design & Transformation to assist with the appointment of a Data Migration Specialist, on a 3-month contract, highly likely to be extended at clients discretion. Please apply with your CV for immediate consideration.

Summary:
As a Data Migration Specialist the post holder will support a critical ERP transformation project. Following a recent implementation of Unit4 ERP, a strategic programme is underway to further develop and optimise its use. As part of this, a key component of the system is being migrated into a new, separate client environment. This role is vital to ensuring a smooth, accurate, and auditable data migration process.
Responsibilities:
- Manage the end-to-end data migration process between ERP clients.
- Prepare migration templates, perform data validation and cleansing, and load data using Unit4 import/export tools.
- Execute data migration plans across build-testing, UAT, and Go-Live phases.
- Provide support during testing and help resolve data-related issues.
- Ensure data accuracy, completeness, and audit traceability throughout.
- Proven track record in end-to-end data migration within Unit4 ERP.
- In-depth knowledge of Unit4 data structures and dependencies.
- Experience with Unit4 import/export functionality and validation processes.
- Strong skills in data mapping, transformation, and cleansing.
- Ability to support various testing stages with a detail-oriented approach.
- Excellent organisational and documentation skills.
