We are working closely alongside a Local Authority in North Yorkshire to assist with the appointment of a Data Analyst, on a 3-month contract, highly likely to be extended at clients discretion. Please apply with your CV for immediate consideration.

Summary: An opportunity has arisen for an experienced Data Analyst to support bus service review activities across partner authorities. The role will involve gathering, collating, and analysing information relating to bus service contracts, service level agreements, and operational arrangements to support financial, legal, procurement, organisational, and technology workstreams.

Responsibilities:

  • Compile and maintain detailed records of current bus service contracts and agreements
  • Gather and record data using agreed templates and processes
  • Produce accurate and consistent datasets for multiple project workstreams
  • Work with bus teams and partner authorities to collect required information
  • Support financial modelling, procurement planning, and organisational reviews

Essential Requirements:

  • Excellent data collection and record management skills
  • Advanced spreadsheet and data collation experience
  • Experience engaging with senior stakeholders within a public sector environment
  • Knowledge of bus industry systems and contracting processes
  • Strong organisational skills and ability to work independently
  • High attention to detail and accuracy
