Rate of Pay: £20.28 – £26.74 per hour
Summary:
This role is a key part of Haringey Councils Customer Experience and Operations service. The successful candidate will manage a team across face-to-face, digital, and telephone channels, supporting service delivery and improving customer experience. You will be the escalation point for complex enquiries and support the Customer Service Manager in operations and service development.
Responsibilities:
- Manage a team to deliver high-quality, customer-focused services across multiple contact channels.
- Specialise in either face-to-face, digital, or telephone-based customer service delivery.
- Act as a point of escalation for complex and technical enquiries.
- Support and deputise for the Customer Service Manager, including attendance at meetings.
- Ensure efficient handling of service enquiries, complaints, and feedback.
- Oversee team training, performance monitoring, and development.
- Participate in the design and delivery of service improvement initiatives and policies.
Essentials:
- Extensive experience managing and motivating teams in a high-volume customer service environment.
- Strong knowledge of relevant customer service legislation, procedures, and best practices.
- High standard of written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong IT skills including MS Office and CRM/contact centre systems.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities under pressure and deliver to deadlines.
