We are working closely alongside a Local Authority in Conwy to assist with the appointment of an Administrative Assistant, on a 3-month contract, highly likely to be extended at clients discretion. Please apply with your CV for immediate consideration.

Rate of Pay: £13.05 - £16.88 per hour

Summary: We're looking for an experienced Administrative Assistant to provide high-quality administrative support to Children's Social Care teams. This role involves supporting Safeguarding, Looked After Children, Family Support & Intervention, and Vulnerable People services through accurate administration, minute-taking, and data management. Due to the nature of the work, candidates must be able to handle sensitive and confidential information with professionalism and resilience.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide professional administrative support to Children's Social Care teams.
  • Take accurate minutes during safeguarding and other statutory meetings.
  • Input and maintain accurate data and case records.
  • Manage confidential and sensitive information in line with GDPR.
  • Support day-to-day business operations and assist with general administrative tasks.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to ensure efficient service delivery.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 5 GCSEs (or equivalent), including English and Maths.

Essentials:

  • Previous experience in an administrative or business support role.
  • Experience with minute-taking and accurate data entry.
  • Strong organisational, planning, and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Good IT skills, including Microsoft Office.
