We are working closely alongside a Local Authority in Worcestershireto assist with the appointment of a Compliance Manager, on a 2-month contract, highly likely to be extended at clients discretion. Please apply with your CV for immediate consideration.
Rate of Pay: £19.02 – £25.06 per Hour
Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Compliance Manager (Water Lead) to oversee water safety compliance across the councils diverse estate of schools and corporate buildings. You will be responsible for managing contractors, driving compliance strategy, and ensuring continued adherence to relevant water hygiene legislation.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct and oversee water risk assessments and audits.
- Manage and monitor contractor performance.
- Collaborate with stakeholders and facilities teams to ensure smooth service delivery.
- Maintain documentation and produce management reports.
- Chair meetings to address and resolve water-related issues.
- Provide leadership on water hygiene risk and asset management.
- Facilitate training and knowledge-sharing on best practices.
- Strong knowledge of Legionella control, ACOP L8, HSG 274 (Parts 13), and relevant legislation.
- Minimum 3 years experience managing water hygiene across multiple sites (preferably within local authority or educational settings).
- Ability to implement effective risk management strategies.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills.
