Job Description:

We are working closely alongside a Local Authority in Rhondda Cynon Taf to assist with the appointment of a Cleaner, on a 1.5-month contract, highly likely to be extended at clients discretion. Please apply with your CV for immediate consideration.

Rate of Pay: £13.45 - £17.62 per hour

Hours per Week: 15.00

Summary:

The School Cleaner will provide an effective, efficient, responsive, and high-quality cleaning service within a designated school environment. The successful candidate will ensure all allocated areas are cleaned to approved standards while maintaining compliance with health and safety procedures.

Responsibilities:

  • Clean designated areas within the school to approved standards
  • Assist with cleaning other areas of the school when required due to unforeseen circumstances
  • Follow all Health and Safety procedures and COSHH regulations
  • Maintain cleaning stock levels and place orders when appropriate
  • Ensure equipment and protective clothing are maintained in good condition
  • Report risks, faults, or safety concerns promptly to the appropriate person

Essentials:

  • Previous cleaning experience
  • Welsh Language Level 1
  • Strong commitment to health and safety compliance
  • Reliable, committed, and able to maintain high cleaning standards
  • Ability to use initiative and complete tasks to a high standard without close supervision
