We are working closely alongside a Local Authority in Lambeth to assist with the appointment of a Business Support Officer, on a 6-month contract, likely to be extended at clients discretion.
Rate of Pay: Β£19.55 - Β£25.78 per hour
Summary
Business Support Officer is required to provide a professional, proactive and customer-focused administrative service across the organisation. This is a critical frontline service-delivery role, supporting reception and court-related activities as required.
Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive administrative and business support across the service.
- Manage shared mailboxes, databases, spreadsheets, records and correspondence.
- Process financial information and maintain accurate records.
- Arrange meetings, take notes and provide general administrative support.
- Maintain and update IT systems to ensure records and statutory information are accurate and up to date.
Qualifications
- Educated to A-Level standard or equivalent relevant experience.
Essentials
- Proven experience providing efficient and effective administrative or business support.
- Strong IT skills, including experience using databases, spreadsheets, word processing and email systems.
- Experience working in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with colleagues, customers and stakeholders at all levels.
