We are working closely alongside a Local Authority in Bromsgrove to assist with the appointment of a Caretaker, on a 3-month contract, highly likely to be extended at clients discretion. Please apply with your CV for immediate consideration.

Summary: The Caretaker will be responsible for delivering day-to-day caretaking services across estates, blocks, and schemes while building positive relationships with residents and the local community. The role involves ensuring communal areas remain clean, safe, secure, and well maintained, alongside carrying out health and safety, fire safety, and legionella checks.
Responsibilities:
- Maintain high standards of cleanliness within communal areas and housing estates.
- Sweep, clean, and mop communal areas including accessible windows and bin stores.
- Ensure bins are prepared for collection and communal areas remain tidy.
- Carry out litter picking, graffiti removal, garden clearances, and bulk waste removal.
- Undertake minor repairs in communal areas as required.
- Conduct void property clearance and cleaning works in preparation for new lettings.
Essentials:
- Full and current driving licence is essential.
- Ability to work proactively and independently while maintaining high standards.
- Strong customer service and communication skills.
- Flexible, approachable, and comfortable working within a team environment.
