We are working closely alongside a Local Authority in Bromley to assist with the appointment of a Supervised Contact Worker, on a 3-month contract, highly likely to be extended at clients discretion. Please apply with your CV for immediate consideration.

Summary: This role supports the delivery of safe, positive, and child-focused Family Time sessions between children and their families. Sessions may take place within Contact Centres, Children & Family Centres, the local community, and occasionally within family homes. The post holder will help ensure high-quality supervised contact arrangements while promoting the wellbeing, safety, and emotional needs of children and families.
Responsibilities:
- Support and supervise Family Time sessions between children and families
- Ensure visits are safe, positive, and child-focused
- Observe, record, and report interactions accurately
- Work across contact centres, community venues, and family homes when required
- Maintain professional boundaries and follow safeguarding procedures
- Work in line with service policies, procedures, and deadlines
Essential Requirements:
- Previous experience working with children and families within a statutory, voluntary, or private sector setting
- Ability to work under pressure and follow procedures and deadlines
- Strong communication and observational skills
- Understanding of safeguarding and child-focused practice
- Ability to travel across Bromley venues as required
- Availability to work Tuesday to Saturday
