Overview
We are working closely alongside a Local Authority in Lewisham to assist with the appointment of a Triage and Engagement Officer, on a 9-month contract, likely to be extended at client\\\’s discretion. Please apply with your CV for immediate consideration.
Rate of Pay: £17.78 – £22.64 per hour
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement a single front door triage system for Lewisham Works.
- Provide trauma-informed triage to residents, young people, and personal advisors.
- Conduct outreach to engage harder-to-reach resident groups, such as NEET young people and inactive individuals.
- Support the employer engagement team to broker and enrol residents into Intermediate Labour Market (ILM) placements.
- Develop and maintain relationships with employers to promote opportunities for young people.
Requirements
- Evidence of training or awareness in trauma-informed practice (desirable).
- Proven experience of working with diverse resident groups, including those harder to engage.
- Track record in customer service and stakeholder relationship management.
- Experience in trauma-informed practices, outreach, or community engagement.
- Experience using IT systems for data management and reporting.
- Good levels of literacy and numeracy.
