We are working closely alongside a Local Authority in Shropshire to assist with the appointment of a Driver, on a 6‑month contract, likely to be extended at the client’s discretion. Please apply with your CV for immediate consideration.

Responsibilities

  • Safely transport students to and from Severndale Specialist School
  • Follow allocated routes and schedules as provided on a weekly rota
  • Carry out daily vehicle checks and report any issues promptly
  • Ensure the safety and wellbeing of passengers at all times
  • Adhere to all road safety regulations and local authority policies

Requirements

  • Full UK Driving Licence
  • Flexibility, as start and finish times vary depending on route distance
  • Willingness to work from a rota issued weekly (every Friday for the following week)
  • Must be located within 15 miles of SY3 due to split shifts
  • Right to work in the U.K.
  • Enhanced DBS (or subscription to the DBS updating service)
  • Available to work immediately or at short notice
