We are working closely alongside a Local Authority in Hillingdon to assist with the appointment of a Senior Lawyer, on a 9-month contract, likely to be extended at clients discretion. To undertake all working practices and procedures for the efficient and effective working of the Team.

To assist with cases in all Courts, Tribunals etc, and to appear personally on the Councils behalf as appropriate in cases in civil and criminal Courts and before Tribunals and Inquiries.

Supervised provision of briefings and information on developments in the law affecting Child Care.

To attend and advise at such meetings as required, in particular, the Adoption Panel and any working parties and officer groups as a representative of the Team.

To have attained a degree (or equivalent), AND to have been either admitted as a Solicitor or a Barrister or a Legal Executive in England and
Wales or Common Law jurisdiction. * Experience in the last 2 years of dealing with, Child Care Law and Adult Social Care.
- To express opinions and ideas in a logical and persuasive manner.
