We are working closely alongside a Local Authority in Rhondda Cynon Taf to assist with the appointment of a Cleaner, on a 1.5-month contract, highly likely to be extended at clients discretion. Please apply with your CV for immediate consideration.
The School Cleaner will provide an effective, efficient, responsive, and high-quality cleaning service within a designated school environment. The successful candidate will ensure all allocated areas are cleaned to approved standards while maintaining compliance with health and safety procedures.
Responsibilities
- Clean designated areas within the school to approved standards
- Assist with cleaning other areas of the school when required due to unforeseen circumstances
- Follow all Health and Safety procedures and COSHH regulations
- Maintain cleaning stock levels and place orders when appropriate
- Ensure equipment and protective clothing are maintained in good condition
- Report risks, faults, or safety concerns promptly to the appropriate person
Essentials
- Previous cleaning experience
- Welsh Language Level 1
- Strong commitment to health and safety compliance
- Reliable, committed, and able to maintain high cleaning standards
- Ability to use initiative and complete tasks to a high standard without close supervision
