The predicted salary is between 15 - 19 £ per hour.

We are working closely alongside a Local Authority in Bexley to assist with the appointment of a Personal Advisor, on a 12-month contract, highly likely to be extended at client discretion.

Support young people aged 18–25 transitioning from care into independent adulthood. Manage a caseload, providing tailored advice, guidance, and practical support to help care leavers achieve positive outcomes in education, employment, housing, and wellbeing.

Responsibilities

  • Manage a caseload of care leavers and deliver high-quality support
  • Complete assessments of need and develop Pathway Plans
  • Monitor and review progress against Pathway Plans
  • Provide 1:1 support, advocacy, and guidance
  • Work collaboratively with multi-agency partners

Qualifications

  • Relevant qualification in social care, youth work, or equivalent experience

Essential Requirements

  • Experience working with young people or vulnerable groups
  • Strong understanding of safeguarding and multi-agency working
  • Ability to manage a caseload and meet deadlines
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
  • Knowledge of Pathway Planning or willingness to learn
  • Flexible to travel (including occasional overnight stays if required)
