We are working closely alongside a Local Authority in Barnet to assist with the appointment of a Family Time Supervisor, on a 3-month contract, likely to be extended at client's discretion. Please apply with your CV for immediate consideration.

Summary
Family Time Supervisor role supporting the delivery of safe, structured, and positive contact sessions between children and their families. The role focuses on safeguarding, observing and recording interactions, and promoting the emotional wellbeing of children while supporting families in a caring and professional environment.
Responsibilities
- Supervise Family Time sessions in centres, community settings, or other venues
- Ensure the safety, welfare, and emotional wellbeing of children at all times
- Observe and record interactions, producing clear and accurate reports
- Support parents to build and maintain positive relationships with their children
- Identify and manage risks, taking appropriate action when required
- Maintain accurate records using internal systems
Qualifications
- Qualification in Health & Social Care, Childcare, or related field
- Relevant safeguarding training (or willingness to complete)
Essential Requirements
- Experience working with children, young people, or families
- Strong understanding of safeguarding and child protection
- Good observation, recording, and report-writing skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to manage challenging situations calmly and professionally
